Display the translation result directly

If you want to display the translation result directly after selecting text instead of popping up the translation button, you have the following choices:

Disable the translation button

You can go to the Settings page > Web Page Selection > Selection Settings, and uncheck Display the translation button after selecting text. In this way, the translation result will pop up directly after you select text.

However, this approach can easily lead to mistranslation, so it is recommended that you choose another method.

Switch the translation panel to fixed mode

You can click the pin icon in the upper left corner of the translation panel to switch the translation panel to fixed mode. In this mode, the translation panel will be fixed in one place and the translation result will be displayed directly after selecting text. In general, I will drag the translation panel to fix it in the upper right corner of the page.

After you close the fixed mode of the translation panel, the translation button will be displayed first after selecting text. However, once the fixed mode of the translation panel is displayed, it will display the translation result directly after selecting text.

Pop up the translation window using auxiliary keys or shortcut keys

You can disable the translation button from popping up and use auxiliary keys or shortcut keys to trigger the translation. For details, please refer to Don't want the translation button to pop up all the time.
