Settings Page

The settings page contains the complete settings of 划词翻译, where you can log in to your 划词翻译 account, view history and favorites, and apply for various services. In general, it is more like the backstage of 划词翻译.

How to Open the Settings Page​

The settings page can be opened in the following ways:

  • After opening the translation panel, click the gear icon in the upper right corner, and then click Open full settings.
  • Right-click the 划词翻译 icon on the right side of the browser address bar and select Options. If there is no 划词翻译 icon on the right side of the browser address bar, click the second-to-last icon (looks like a jigsaw puzzle), which will display the 划词翻译 icon.
  • In the extension management page (chrome://extensions/), find 划词翻译, click the Details button, and then click Extension options.

Components of the Settings Page​

The settings page is mainly composed of the following four parts.

Full Settings​

After opening the settings page, the default display is the complete settings of 划词翻译. It contains rich settings that allow you to adjust 划词翻译 to the usage you want. Each setting has detailed instructions.

Favorites​

The translations you have collected in the translation panel will be listed here. For details, please refer to Favorites (Wordbook).

History​

If you enable the history function, each of your translations will be listed here. For details, please refer to History.

Service Application​

The functions of 划词翻译 are composed of various services, which are uniformly managed here. You can apply for keys for them here, or purchase translation points for use. For details, please refer to Service Introduction.

Do Not Modify the Scope of Permissions for 划词翻译!​

Chrome / Edge can modify the scope of permissions for 划词翻译 in the extension management page (chrome://extensions/?id=ikhdkkncnoglghljlkmcimlnlhkeamad), but doing so will cause 划词翻译 to not work properly on any page! This will cause all translation services of 划词翻译, or registering / logging in to the 划词翻译 account to report an error of "server no response".

When you modify the scope of permissions, a red prompt will appear at the top of the settings page You have modified the scope of permissions for 划词翻译, please follow the prompt to change the scope of permissions back to On all sites.
